Polis It Rocks

The IT Rocks collection by Polis Ceramiche reveals a fresh, unexpected side of natural stone: youthful, stylish, and slightly ironic. Its matte, layered stone-look surface creates an expressive and organic atmosphere. Ideal for both interior and exterior use, it blends the beauty of stone with the performance of durable porcelain tile.

IT Rocks is created from fully-coloured porcelain stoneware that replicates the textured, stratified appearance of slate or naturally layered rock. The surface is matte and subtly textured, producing a tactile feel that is visually rich yet understated.

On the technical side, IT Rocks is highly resilient: the material is long-lasting, abrasion-resistant, and colour-stable. It is well-suited for high-traffic areas, architecturally driven spaces, and outdoor applications. Thanks to its fully-coloured body, the shade remains consistent even under intensive use.

The collection is available in four natural hues: Sandstone, Metal, Coal, and Ash. These colours range from warm, sandy tones to cool anthracite, allowing for versatile design schemes from urban modern to minimal elegance.

IT Rocks comes in a variety of formats: common sizes include 30 × 60 cm, 45 × 90 cm, 60 × 60 cm, both in standard thickness and a thicker 2.0 version for heavy-duty or outdoor use. Certain formats also feature slip resistance, making the series suitable for walkable surfaces.

Ideal applications include interior spaces like living rooms, hallways, kitchens, and bathrooms, especially where a natural, stone-inspired aesthetic is desired. For exteriors, the 2.0 version provides durability for terraces, balconies, or other outdoor areas when correctly installed.

Maintenance is straightforward: the dense porcelain resists moisture absorption and stains, and cleans easily with regular products. This balance of refined design, natural texture, and technical reliability makes IT Rocks a compelling choice for architects, designers, and homeowners seeking stone aesthetics in a high-performance material.
