Florim Iconic Life, porcelain stoneware inspired by Taj Mahal quartzite
Florim Iconic Life belongs to the Contemporary Design range and takes inspiration from one of the most elegant natural stones used in interior design, Taj Mahal quartzite.
This stone is characterised by a warm pale background, flowing mineral structures and subtle veining. Compared with many traditional marble designs, its contrasts are softer and its overall appearance is warmer.
Florim translates these characteristics into porcelain stoneware.
Cream, beige, amber and brown tones move gently across the surface, while intertwined veins create visual depth without making the graphic excessively dominant.
The complete range can be explored in the
Florim Iconic collection at
VITALE TILES.
Iconic Rice, the lightest interpretation
Officially called Rice Yamuna by Florim, the surface combines pale cream, ivory and beige tones.
Its light colour makes it particularly suitable for bathrooms, kitchens and living areas where the interior should remain open and bright.
Subtle mineral movement prevents the surface from appearing completely uniform, while the soft contrast allows Rice to be used across large areas.
It works particularly well with pale timber, medium brown wood, brass, chrome, stainless steel and black fittings.
For interiors where traditional white marble appears too cool, Rice provides a warmer natural stone alternative.
At VITALE TILES, the Rice colour family includes different surface options, including standard matte products, Glossy, Silk and Antislip variants.
This allows the colour to continue across different parts of a project while adapting the surface to the technical requirements of each area.
Iconic Honey, warm quartzite with amber tones
Iconic Honey emphasises the warmer character of Taj Mahal quartzite.
Honey, beige and amber shades create a comfortable and natural appearance.
The colour works especially well with oak, walnut and darker timber tones. Brass, bronze, cream furniture and warm textiles also complement Honey naturally.
In bathrooms, Honey provides a warmer alternative to conventional white or grey marble inspired surfaces.
The same colour can work equally well across an open living space, where the stone effect can be combined with timber furniture and understated wall colours.
The VITALE TILES Iconic range also includes Honey Glossy, Honey Silk and Honey Antislip options alongside the standard matte surface.
This gives the colour considerable flexibility across floors and walls.
Iconic Opal, balanced beige and stone tones
Iconic Opal sits between the lighter Rice shade and the warmer, deeper Honey and Moka colours.
Its balanced colouring makes it one of the most versatile options in the collection.
Opal has a refined natural stone appearance and can be combined with a wide selection of interior materials.
Pale timber creates a softer and more understated interior, while dark wood and black details provide stronger contrast.
This makes Opal particularly useful for projects that want a high quality stone effect without choosing a surface that is either very pale or particularly dark.
In bathrooms, the colour can be used across both floors and walls.
In living spaces, it provides a calm ceramic foundation that can adapt to different furniture styles over time.
Glossy, Silk, matte and slip resistant options allow the colour to be used for different areas within the same interior concept.
Iconic Moka, the deepest colour
Iconic Moka is the deepest and most expressive colour within Iconic Life.
Warm brown, mocha and beige tones give the quartzite inspired graphic greater visual presence.
Moka works especially well in larger rooms where the surface can become a visible part of the architecture.
At the same time, the soft character of the veining prevents the design from becoming excessively busy.
Light walls, cream furniture and pale timber provide a clear contrast.
For richer interiors, Moka can also be combined with dark wood, bronze and black metal details.
The colour is available at VITALE TILES in several surface options, including matte, Glossy, Silk and Antislip versions.
This makes Moka suitable for both decorative wall areas and different flooring requirements.
Glossy, Matte Silk, matte and slip resistant surfaces
Florim currently presents Iconic Life with Glossy and Matte Silk surfaces.
Glossy increases light reflection and makes the veining and layered colour movement more visible.
Rice and Opal can appear particularly luminous in Glossy, while Honey and Moka develop a richer and more luxurious appearance.
Matte Silk reduces reflection and creates a softer material effect. Its understated surface suits the natural character of the Taj Mahal quartzite inspiration particularly well.
The VITALE TILES range also includes standard matte products and selected Antislip versions.
Several matte products are listed with R10 A+B slip resistance, while dedicated slip resistant variants provide additional options for areas with greater technical requirements.
This makes it possible to continue the same stone appearance across different spaces while adapting the product specification.
Sizes from conventional tiles to 120 × 280 cm slabs
Iconic Life offers considerable flexibility in terms of format.
At VITALE TILES, the range includes dimensions such as 30 × 60, 60 × 60, 60 × 120, 80 × 80 and 120 × 120 cm.
Selected Silk and Glossy products extend the concept to slabs measuring up to 120 × 280 cm.
The 30 × 60 cm format is versatile and works particularly well in bathrooms, kitchens and smaller areas.
60 × 60 and 80 × 80 cm create a calmer grid and are suitable for medium and large interiors.
60 × 120 cm is one of the most adaptable larger formats and works on both floors and walls.
120 × 120 cm reduces the number of visible grout joints even further.
At 120 × 280 cm, the quartzite inspired design can extend across a large continuous area.
This is particularly effective on bathroom walls, inside showers and on feature walls where the flowing veining can remain largely uninterrupted.
Taj Mahal quartzite effect rather than traditional marble
Iconic Life can visually sit close to premium marble effect collections, but its specific inspiration is Taj Mahal quartzite.
This distinction affects the overall character of the surface.
Carrara and Calacatta inspired tiles often combine a pale background with clearly defined contrasting veins.
Taj Mahal quartzite generally has a warmer base and softer, more flowing structures.
Iconic Life is therefore particularly interesting for interiors where an elegant natural stone effect is desired but conventional white marble feels too cool or too formal.
Iconic Life in bathrooms
Bathrooms are particularly well suited to the warm stone appearance of Iconic Life.
Rice works well in bright and minimalist bathrooms.
Honey introduces considerably more warmth and combines naturally with timber and brass.
Opal provides a balanced solution for timeless interiors.
Moka can create a stronger and more expressive bathroom concept.
One approach is to use the same colour across both floors and walls while changing the surface finish.
A Matte or Matte Silk floor can, for example, be paired with a Glossy feature wall.
The colour remains consistent while reflection and texture create variation.
The collection can also be combined with understated
wall tiles when only selected surfaces should feature the quartzite effect.
Iconic Life in kitchens and living areas
The warm stone character also works particularly well in kitchens and open living spaces.
All four colours can be combined with timber, creating a natural and comfortable material palette.
Rice and Opal are especially suitable for pale kitchens and minimalist interiors.
Honey complements warm wood tones and cream cabinetry.
Moka can create greater contrast against lighter kitchen units.
Larger formats reduce the visual number of grout lines and contribute to a calmer architectural appearance.
In open plan interiors, Iconic Life can continue from the kitchen through the dining and living areas, visually connecting different parts of the floor plan.
Additional ceramic flooring options can be found in the
VITALE TILES floor tile range.
Iconic Life for hotels, restaurants and commercial interiors
Iconic Life is also suitable for hospitality and commercial projects.
Its warm natural stone appearance can create refined reception areas, restaurants, boutiques and hotel interiors without requiring an extremely dramatic surface.
Rice and Opal provide relatively neutral foundations.
Honey produces a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere.
Moka can be used where stronger material character is desired.
Different sizes and surfaces allow the design to respond to various parts of a project.
In larger spaces, the restrained quartzite graphic can create a high quality appearance without competing excessively with furniture, lighting and architectural details.
Florim Iconic Life at VITALE TILES
Iconic Life is a particularly interesting Florim collection for projects seeking a warm and refined natural stone appearance.
Its Taj Mahal quartzite inspiration gives the collection a noticeably different character from many traditional white marble designs.
The wider range includes matte, glossy, silk and slip resistant product options.
Before placing a larger order, we recommend viewing the preferred colour as a physical sample.
The warm colour transitions and fine veining can appear noticeably different depending on daylight, artificial lighting, furniture and surrounding materials.
With large slabs, it should also be remembered that a small sample shows only one section of the complete stone graphic.
