Florim SensiColore, a ceramic journey through the colours of Italy

SensiColore takes a different approach to ceramic design.

Rather than reproducing marble, concrete or natural stone, the collection makes colour itself the central design element.

Developed by Florim together with Matteo Thun & Partners, the palette draws inspiration from different Italian landscapes: pale stone in southern Italy, the beaches of Sardinia and Sicily, warm Tuscan hills, green Alpine valleys and the blues of Italy's coastline and northern lakes.

These inspirations are translated into 15 coordinated colours that can be used individually or combined within the same interior.

For additional decorative surfaces, explore the VITALE TILES selection of wall tiles.

Bianco, Grigio, Tortora and Avorio

The neutral colours provide the most understated side of SensiColore.

Bianco creates a bright, clean surface and the glossy finish helps reflect light in smaller bathrooms, kitchens and niches.

Avorio introduces a softer ivory tone and combines naturally with timber, warm metals and stone.

Grigio provides a contemporary neutral grey.

Tortora sits between grey, beige and taupe, making it one of the easiest colours in the collection to coordinate with other materials.

Rosa, Vino, Miele, Cammello and Marrone

The warmer colours give SensiColore much more personality.

Rosa provides a soft pink that can be used in bathrooms, guest bathrooms and decorative commercial interiors.

Vino is significantly stronger. The deep wine colour can transform an entire wall into a focal point.

Miele sits between honey, ochre and warm beige and brings warmth without creating a particularly dark surface.

Cammello recalls sand, leather and caramel and works especially well alongside timber.

Marrone provides a deeper brown and can create a strong contrast with Bianco or Avorio.

Salvia, Muschio and Bosco

The green family offers three very different interpretations.

Salvia is soft and muted, making it suitable for calm and natural interiors.

Muschio is deeper and refers more directly to moss and vegetation.

Bosco is the darkest and most dramatic green.

These colours can work especially well with timber, brass, pale stone and white bathroom furniture.

Ceruleo, Laguna and Blunotte

The blue palette ranges from light to very deep tones.

Ceruleo has a fresh, lighter character inspired by sky and Mediterranean colour.

Laguna introduces a richer aquatic shade that can work particularly well in showers and kitchen splashbacks.

Blunotte is the deepest blue of the collection and creates a strong architectural surface.

Paired with pale grout or Bianco tiles, Blunotte can produce a particularly graphic contrast.

11.6 × 11.6 cm square tiles

The square format gives SensiColore a deliberately ceramic appearance.

Rather than hiding grout joints, the format allows them to become part of the design.

Matching grout creates a calmer continuous surface, while contrasting grout emphasises the grid.

The size is particularly useful for shower walls, niches, guest bathrooms and decorative areas.

5.7 × 23.2 cm rectangular tiles

The elongated format offers more laying options.

Tiles can be installed horizontally, vertically or in offset patterns. Vertical installation can visually emphasise room height, while horizontal layouts create a more familiar brick-like rhythm.

Its proportions refer to classic subway tiles, although SensiColore's colour palette gives the format a much more contemporary identity.

Onda 2, Onda 5 and Onda 7

Florim complements the flat surfaces with structured Onda decors.

Depending on the selected colour, variants include Onda 2, Onda 5 and Onda 7 in the elongated format.

Their three-dimensional waves interact with light, making the glossy surface appear more dynamic.

The effect is particularly striking in colours such as Vino, Bosco, Ceruleo, Laguna and Blunotte.

Onda tiles can cover an entire feature wall or be used selectively inside a niche, shower or washbasin area.

Glossy coloured tiles for bathrooms and kitchens

The glossy finish is fundamental to the character of SensiColore.

Light is reflected across the surface and colours may appear subtly different depending on daylight, artificial lighting and viewing angle.

This makes the collection particularly effective on walls.

Salvia and Muschio can create natural bathrooms, Ceruleo and Laguna provide fresher blue interiors, while Rosa and Miele introduce warmer tones. Vino, Bosco and Blunotte can be used where a considerably stronger visual statement is desired.

For floor applications, the technical specifications and suitability of the selected item should always be checked for the intended area. Additional options can be found among our floor tiles.

Florim Creative Design

At VITALE TILES, you can explore SensiColore alongside our wider selection of Florim tiles for bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces and architectural interiors.

For a collection in which colour plays such an important role, viewing physical samples before a larger order is particularly useful. Lighting, grout colour, furniture and neighbouring materials can significantly affect how shades such as Rosa, Vino, Salvia, Bosco, Laguna and Blunotte appear in the finished room.
